Understanding outback travel
Because each tour includes some of the Outback you must expect a few things to be different. The magic of the Outback is its remoteness, away from the usual hurly burly. People on the tours comment on the Outback sky, the stars, feelings of timelessness, vastness, and of being close to nature.
Each tour brings new experiences. There will be earth roads sometimes requiring slow and careful travel. You will understand that luxuries are not characteristic of Outback life, and that the life style is part of the Outback experience.
Water is a precious commodity, used to support life. There won't be showers every day. There will be some roadside overnight stops. During the tours people come together and form friendships which last well beyond the duration of the trip.
There have been marvellous friendships commence during tours. Reunions have been organised by participants and more are being planned. People have travelled huge distances to get back together with tour mates for a few days.
About tour costs, and other information
We provide a brief description of the route and attractions. Those who have been on one of our tours previously know that there is more included than is shown on the outline. We don't provide an exact daily timetable because in the Outback we know that so many things can happen to change plans.
Caravanning & camping tours charges are per person and what is included will vary with each tour, so check the 'Included' statements to make sure of inclusions. The tour fee covers the cost of guiding, planning, general communication, service and support costs.

We'll send a Newsletter with the latest relevant information a month or so prior to your tour.
